Join Our Team at the Mayfair Hotel as a Food & Beverage Leader!
The award-winning Mayfair Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our vibrant team. This role works across The Mayflower breakfast buffet restaurant and The Den Bistro, delivering exceptional service to hotel guests and local diners.
Key Responsibilities
Provide warm, professional table and buffet service in a 5-star environment
Assist with set-up, replenishment and pack-down of the breakfast buffet
Take orders, run food & beverages, and maintain immaculate presentation in the bistro
Ensure all hygiene, safety and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) standards are met
Work collaboratively with the F&B team to create memorable guest experiences
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Proven experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role within a luxury or high-volume environment
Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Knowledge: Proficiency in POS systems (H&L preferred), comprehensive understanding of hotel operations
Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
Certificates: RSA & Food Handlers Certificate are essential for this role

About Mayfair Hotel
The Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd (CML) first began operating in Melbourne in 1873. By the 1930s, CML had embarked upon a construction program across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa establishing a building style so unique, it would be recognised as a society building wherever it was situated in the world.
The Adelaide building was constructed in two stages: the first building facing King William Street was completed in 1934 and the adjoining building facing Hindley Street in 1936.
