The opportunity: Coregas has an opportunity for an Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our team. The role will be based at our Thomastown, Victoria site.
Your duties will be:
Install, modify, maintain and repair Coregas electronic instruments and control systems.
Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults.
Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments.
Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.
Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
Installing electronic instruments and control systems.
Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems.
Completion of planned maintenance as defined by the company's maintenance management system.
Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
Sort cylinders, inspect for faults, process cylinders for filling.
Operate test station and test cylinders as required.
Operate manual handling equipment in accordance with sop.
Conduct general housekeeping to ensure worksite safety is adhered to.
Pay rate starting at: $38.42 per hour
Minimum qualifications: Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Control
Experience: 5+ years of experience within gas industry
