Qualified Sheetmetal Worker – Duct Manufacturing

Boronia | $46 per hour + regular overtime | Full-time | Immediate start

Our client is a highly successful Australian manufacturing company, established in 1991 and specialising in the fabrication of ducting for a wide range of industries. With a strong reputation and long-term future in the local manufacturing sector, they are now looking for a reliable and dedicated Sheetmetal Worker to join their fun and friendly team in Boronia.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for manufacturing ducts from 3mm gauge steel, including forming, bending, rolling, and MIG welding.

Ducts range in size from 150mm to 2000mm in diameter.

From time to time, you’ll also assist with installing completed ducts at client sites (including some Saturday work).

Hours & Pay

$46 per hour + overtime rates

Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–3:30pm

Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm

Overtime available across weekdays and Saturdays

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Sheetmetal Worker (or proven equivalent experience)

Strong skills in folding, bending, rolling, forming, and MIG welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Safety-focused mindset

Reliable, dedicated, and able to fit into a small, fun, and friendly workshop culture

Availability to work regular overtime

Please note: candidates will be required to complete a weld test to assess experience and skill level.
