The Opportunity:

  • Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment.
  • $165,000 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading.
  • Chadstone Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

The People Experience department drives Holmesglen’s strategic objectives by building a capable, resilient and engaged workforce. The team delivers core HR services including workforce planning, talent acquisition, organisational development, safety and wellbeing, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion. The People Partnerships Manager will lead the implementation of a contemporary HR business partner model, guiding the transition of the Talent Acquisition team into a strategic, solutions-focused function. This role partners with leaders across Holmesglen to drive workforce planning, talent strategies and employee engagement, while providing expert advice on people matters to build a capable, inclusive and high-performing workforce.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Associate Director, People, this role will:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a contemporary HR business partner model across Holmesglen.
  • Guide the Talent Acquisition team through an exciting transition from a transactional recruitment service to a strategic, solutions-focused business partner function.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver proactive, people-driven solutions on employee relations, wellbeing, capability, performance, and engagement.
  • Use workforce data and insights to shape strategic decision-making.

With six direct reports, this position is pivotal in embedding a trusted, future-focused people function across our Institute.

About You:

You are a strategic HR leader with a passion for enabling people and culture to thrive. You bring:

  • Demonstrated success leading and embedding a HR business partner model.
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition and workforce planning in complex environments.
  • A solid understanding of employee relations, OHS, HR compliance and workforce legislation.
  • The ability to partner with leaders, influence at a senior level, and deliver practical, future-focused workforce solutions.
  • A collaborative, innovative, and adaptable approach to leadership.
  • Degree qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field are required. Postgraduate qualifications and AHRI membership are desirable
  • Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
