Responsibilities of this role

• Machine maintenance on a fleet of mining equipment, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, daily refueling and inspections
• Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
• Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
• Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely

Requirements for this role include

• Trade qualified as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent
• Experience on heavy mining equipment
• Demonstrated success in a similar role will be an advantage
• Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or we can assist you to obtain)
• Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• A current Queensland driver licence
