Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Unanderra, Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSW
Salary: Competitive wages (TBD with overtime options available)
Work Set-up: Full-time | On-site | Permanent role
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced CNC Machinists to join a progressive engineering company. You'll be part of a highly skilled team working on some of the world's most sophisticated machining equipment, including large-scale 5-axis machines. This role offers varied, high-quality work across multiple industries, with access to modern facilities, ongoing training, and excellent career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling, turning, and wire cutting machines.
- Perform CNC programming using Mastercam and other platforms.
- Work with Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Okuma controls.
- Machine large and complex components for industries including mining, defence, and heavy industry.
- Ensure precision, quality, and safety in all machining tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC milling and turning processes.
- Experience with Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Okuma controls (desirable).
- Commitment to producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Open to both local and international applicants.
