Are you a skilled Draftsman / CNC Programmer looking to take the next step in your career? Join our growing team in Minto, where you’ll play a key role in bridging design and manufacturing for custom sheet metal products.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll use your drafting and programming expertise to create precise technical drawings, 3D models, and CNC programs that bring customer concepts to life. Working closely with engineering, production, and sales teams, you’ll ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.

What you’ll be doing

Creating detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for sheet metal components and assemblies

Developing and optimising CNC programs for punching, laser cutting , and press brake operations

Conducting first-off checks and simulations to validate accuracy

Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot and improve processes

What we’re looking for

Qualification in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Experience in sheet metal drafting and CNC programming

Strong skills in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and CAM software (Trumpf, AMADA, Bystronic or similar)

Knowledge of sheet metal design principles, tolerances, and fabrication processes

Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
