Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Advisor to join our friendly team, working two days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on independence while still being part of a collaborative and supportive workplace.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Training Manager, you’ll play a key part in supporting students enrolled in our online VET qualifications. You’ll provide guidance, encouragement, and expertise, ensuring our learners have the best possible experience on their study journey. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing quality and development of our training programs.

What you’ll do
As an Education Advisor, you will:
- Provide academic support and guidance to students via phone and email.
- Assist learners who need extra help, including those with LLN support needs.
- Assess student work within required timeframes and standards, including RPL applications and Credit Transfers.
- Participate in validation activities to ensure training quality.
- Contribute to the development and proofreading of training materials.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of your work.
Qualifications
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum education level of a Diploma in Counselling, Community Services or a related field (degree-level qualifications are preferable).
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE40110 | TAE40116 | TAE40122 (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment – AIPC will cover the cost).
- At least 2 years of recent Counselling or Community Services work experience (voluntary or paid).
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- High computer literacy, including Microsoft Office skills.

Please note - this role is permanent, part-time at 2 days a week
