Our client is a market-leading mid-tier professional services firm located in Brisbane. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager or Client Manager. This position is ideal for someone operating at a Senior Accountant level looking to step up, or an experienced Manager seeking a new and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including entrepreneurs, family groups, not-for-profits, and high-growth businesses.

Oversee compliance and advisory engagements across financial statements, tax returns, structuring, forecasting, and commercial advisory work.

Act as a key point of contact for select clients, building strong relationships and delivering practical, value-add solutions.

Mentor and lead junior staff members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Work closely with a hands-on leadership team to deliver quality outcomes and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.

Requirements

CA/CPA qualified;

5 - 7 years + experience working within a boutique, Big 4 and or Mid-Tier accounting firm in Australia;

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;

Strong strategic understanding of corporate structures (e.g. trust, companies and partnerships;

Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting.
