About You:

Basic computer skills and be familiar with tablets/iPad.

Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills.

Familiarity with and knowledge of a wide range of earth moving equipment and the transport industry - preferred

Well organised and ability to work to schedules and plans.

Have some basic mechanical aptitude

Forklift & HR licence - essentail

About the Role:

Your duties will include:

Utilise the company ERP to electronically log inspection results.

Take ownership of the assigned pre-hire requests. Prepare the equipment in accordance with the customer requirements and/or statutory obligations. This includes but is not limited to attachment selection and pre-hire checks (photos, fittings, safety equipment and logs) and quality expectations.

Take ownership of the assigned off-hire requests. Review machinery and related equipment in accordance with company off-hire process. Log all chargeable items i.e. cleaning, fuel, damages, missing items.

Washing machines/attachments in a timely manner and to company quality standards. This includes all external components and internal cabin areas.

Conduct clearance inspections in line with inspection checklists and as per the schedule. Affix Ready for Rent or Out of Service tags to signify the status.

Refuel plant and equipment.

Ability to operate HR class heavy vehicles - preferred

Work collaboratively with the Hire/Sales/Workshop teams to maximise the utilisation of equipment hire through effective decision making and branch sharing. This can involve the efficient movement of off-hires, branch transfers or prioritising yard work that can help to meet urgent customer requirements.

Assist in day-to-day yard maintenance that will include the safe storage of company tools and equipment, rubbish removal and any other tasks that help to maintain a safe and efficient workplace. Operating and moving machines safely around the yard.

Proactively promote a safe working environment.

Participate in company and site meetings as required.
