Tax Accountant – Hybrid | Permanent Role

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in-office / 2 days WFH

Salary: $90K + Super (Negotiable based on experience)

Location: St George and Sutherland Shire area | Blakehurst

We are a very well-established, reputable Chartered Accountancy firm seeking a Tax Accountant to join our friendly, stable and professional team. The Role

This role will see you working across a diverse range of clients including individuals, partnerships, trusts, SME, and SMSFs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing financial statements and tax returns

SMSF compliance

Liaising directly with clients

Managing workflows using MYOB AE Tax and Accounting

Working with cloud-based accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Quicken)

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

A CA or CPA-qualified accountant, or currently completing the qualification

Experienced in public practice accounting (minimum 3–4 years)

Proficient in preparing returns for SMSFs, trusts, partnerships, and small companies

Ideally skilled in using MYOB AE, BGL Simple Fund, Xero, MYOB, and Quicken

Friendly, professional, and committed to building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
