We are seeking experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Developmental Educators to join our supportive, multidisciplinary team.
In this rewarding role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Work closely with individual children and their families to create meaningful change.
Design and deliver practical, individualised strategies that build the capacity of children and their families in everyday ways
Focus on intervention beyond behaviour support, making a positive impact towards goals such as emotional regulation, social interaction, play and self management, and supporting parents with their parenting strategies
Access an exceptional range of resources, programs and shared materials as the base for your individual interventions
Deliver services in the natural settings of home, child care, preschool and school, as well as office based services
Interact with the “team around the child” including other providers and educators
Collaborate with a warm, supportive team of experienced Developmental Educators and Psychologists, including regular professional supervision and guidance
Be part of a family- first practice that values compassion, connection, and professional growth
At Connect Psychology, we walk alongside families on their journey. As a Developmental Educator on our team, your expertise and support can make a life-changing impact.
We are looking for applicants who have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Disability and Developmental Education or related degree that qualifies for full membership of the Developmental Educators Australia Ltd (DEA) and at least 12 months relevant experience working with children and families. You will have skills and knowledge of early intervention frameworks, developmental assessments, and individualized intervention plans.
We offer above – award rates, flexible work hours to fit your family needs, and outstanding administrative support so that you can focus on your rewarding role.
If you’re ready to bring your skills, energy, and expertise to a team that is committed to making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
