Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Co-Educator to join our Early Years team at the Wynn Vale campus in 2026. This role is ideal for educators who are committed to inclusive education and experienced in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.

Working in partnership with Teachers and the Inclusion Key Teacher, you will help create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that nurtures student growth and independence.

The role on offer is part time at 30 hours per week with commencement in January 2026. Co-Educators work across 39 school term weeks with an additional 4 weeks of paid annual leave taken immediately following Term 4.

Position Purpose

Co-Educators play a crucial role in creating an engaging, positive, and student-centred learning environment. The role collaborates closely with Classroom and Specialist teachers, supporting students ranging from those with learning difficulties to those seeking enrichment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Teachers to deliver inclusive and engaging learning experiences.

Provide targeted support to students in small groups or one-on-one settings.

Assist with student assessments and maintain accurate records.

Support students with disabilities and/or learning needs, including personal care where required.

Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture.

Supervise students during break times and school events.

Assist with administrative tasks and maintain learning environments.

Understanding of inclusive education and trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications Required:

An education-related Certificate III or Diploma Qualification (or higher) is highly desirable

Current First Aid Certificate.

Successful completion of mandatory reporting training (RRHAN-EC).

Current Working with Children's Check.

Understanding of children's developmental and well-being needs in relation to learning and growth outcomes.
