Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Assemblers to assist our clients Audio Visual Electrical Assembly team in their manufacturing site located in Greenacre. Ongoing temp to perm role, Day shift, Monday to Friday paying $38 p/hr.

The Client:

A National leader in their field experiencing tremendous growth! Our client works Nationwide with some of Australia’s largest sporting venues, theatres and performing arts centre’s across the Audio Visual Events space!
Their customers include sporting venues, stadiums, theatres, performing arts centre’s, houses of worship, schools, public precincts/conference centres, corporate facilities, parliaments, TV studios and councils.

• 7am – 3:06 pm shift
• $38 p/hr + Super
• Temp to Perm after 3 months!
• Daily overtime available after training completed

The Role: Electrical Assembler - Manufacturing department
Attention to detail is key in this role. Products that are assembled incorrectly or marked / scratched become unusable.

This role will see you completing Electrical Assembly based work building and assembling Audio Visual equipment such as brackets and speakers, cabling systems, cabinets, control systems and electrical wiring of components based in the Greenacre Head office.

Your main duties will involve:

• Assisting trades people in the Greenacre Manufacturing facility
• Assembling equipment
• Soldering of components
• Electrical component and wiring assembly
• Assisting cabling and wiring for hoists and equipment
• Building and assembling of Audio Visual equipment such as Brackets and wall mounts
• Electrical wiring and assembling of components
• Use of both hand and power tools
• Following and reading plans
• General workshop clean up duties at the end of each day

The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

• Electrical Trades Assistant experience is a must
• Electrical component wiring and Assembly experience is a must
• Soldering experience
• Experience can be manufacturing facility or site based
• Hand and power tool experience is a must
• Experience following and reading plans for assembling products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
• Must be able to commit to these roles in an ongoing capacity

Advantageous:

• Forklift license
• Welding experience
• White Card
• EWP ticket
