About the Company

Our client is a leading supplier of power distribution systems, providing high-quality electrical solutions to commercial, industrial, and fit-out projects across Australia.

They are seeking an experienced Sales/Estimator to help drive growth and foster strong client partnerships, playing a pivotal role in sales, customer engagement, and technical support, while ensuring accuracy in project costing and quotations.

This position would suit someone from an Electrical background who enjoys both client interaction and technical estimating.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates, quotes, and tender submissions.

Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Identifying and pursuing new project opportunities.

Collaborating with the project delivery team to ensure a smooth handover from tender to execution.

Staying across market trends, suppliers, and subcontractor networks.

Skills & Experience Required:

Electrical tertiary qualification or trade background.

Strong ability to interpret electrical and architectural drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally an Estimating or Sales role within electrical projects or power distribution.

Minimum 2-3 years of estimating or sales experience in electrical projects is required.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.

Proficiency in MS Office and Aconex.

Basic familiarity with Aconex software is required.

Regular user experience with Aconex software is required.

Australian work rights are required for this position.
