Join a busy and dynamic parts team where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to person for parts inquiries—handling phone and counter sales, managing inventory, and packing and dispatching orders. This role offers the perfect mix of customer service, hands-on work, and career growth. Whether you're an experienced interpreter or a mechanic ready to step off the tools, there’s room to grow and make your mark here.

Duties

• Open to candidates with a car background — truck experience not essential
• Ideal for someone stepping off the tools and looking to move into a senior position
• Two roles available: one senior, one support
• 5 days a week with every 3rd Saturday (8:00am–12:30pm)
• Monday to Friday hours are flexible between 7:00am and 6:00pm
• Work involves both front counter and phone-based service
• Occasionally assist at the back counter during peak times
• Respond to internal and external parts inquiries and process sales
• Accurately prepare quotes and invoices
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
• Maintain an accurate and efficient inventory across sales, service, and parts departments
• Manage all inbound and outbound freight and warehouse-related duties
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy working environment

Skills and experience

• Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter or Automotive Mechanic desirable
• Solid knowledge of vehicle parts across various makes and models
• Confident using (or learning) manufacturer and dealer management systems
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise under pressure
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Eager to learn, adapt, and grow within a supportive team environment
