Manufacturing Production Assistant

The Role

You will work closely with the Production Team, offering crucial support across a variety of tasks. This is a great opportunity to expand your technical and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Documentation: Create and update technical drawings based on customer specifications. Full training will be provided to help you prepare and modify production drawings.

Assembly Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions (similar to interpreting detailed product manuals).

Production Support: Assist with managing and updating production schedules.

Sales & Purchasing Administration: Prepare customer quotes, and accurately input sales orders and purchases for production.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for working successfully in a technical and production environment.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Communication: Excellent spoken and written English is required.

Work Eligibility: Candidates must possess permanent work rights in Australia.

Technical Aptitude: Proven comfort and ability to contribute effectively in a technical/production setting, including experience assisting with production schedules.

Computer Proficiency: Strong PC literacy and a demonstrated interest in learning specialised software programs. While training will be provided (e.g., Publisher, Illustrator, Photoshop), an existing aptitude and enjoyment for using different computer applications is highly preferred.
