MTC Recruitment currently have on-call day and afternoon casual roles available for experienced Process Workers / Assemblers in a manufacturing environment which produces Garage Doors. The successful candidates will be working on an assembly line putting components together using general hand / power tools.

Dayshift paying $35.15 per hour

Afternoon paying $40.12 per hour

What you will do:

• Assist with the assembly of garage doors on an assembly line
• Manual handling and moving components and boxes with trolleys within the factory
• Using hand tools such as nail guns, saws and drills
• Sliding products along a production line
• Assisting the production staff and general warehousing duties as required

To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• A background in Production / Assembly work
• General hand and power tool usage ability including ratchets, air drills, spanners, nail guns and other tools
• Mechanically minded (An advantage)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Good physically fitness with able to lift up to 20 kilos
• Flexibility to do other tasks when required
• Have a great attitude and reliable work ethic
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass a Police Check
