Our client is a leading name in the supply and installation of industrial compliance and inspection equipment into a wide range of industries. Right now we are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their ranks in Sydney to support a wide range and variety of applications throughout Sydney and Country NSW.

This role will see you working on a range of industrial technologies including laser, x-ray, coding and labelling systems, inspection systems etc. as well as custom software and IT solutions. Your day-to day duties will include:

• Installation and commissioning of equipment
• Regular and preventative maintenance activities
• Attending to breakdown situations and providing required assistance
• Assisting sales team with demonstrations
• Providing customer training on new and existing systems

Ideally our successful applicant will have worked with similar equipment before, however it will be your ability to demonstrate the following skills and attributes that will carry the day:

• Trade/tertiary qualifications in an electronics or mechatronics discipline
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and repairing technical equipment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Well developed communication and customer service skills
• An eye for detail and ability to get the job done right the first time
• Computer and IT literate with understanding of networked systems
