The Role We are seeking a skilled Surveying or Spatial Science Technician to support projects in Bathurst. This role would suit someone with strong technical knowledge in GIS, mapping, and spatial data analysis, along with practical surveying skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collecting, processing, and validating spatial and surveying data.
• Supporting field and office-based surveying activities.
• Using GIS software and spatial databases to prepare maps, reports, and analysis.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
• Assisting with the interpretation of spatial data for operational and project needs.

Desired:

• Qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Science, GIS, or a related discipline (or relevant industry experience).
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
• Knowledge of surveying practices, spatial data collection, and data quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
