About the role

VET trainers/assessors are responsible to deliver and assess learners according to the session plan, submit complete student work in a term to term basic and participate in validation activities. Candidate must be aware of necessary procedures to meet various regulatory requirements such as ASQA, ESOS, and AQF.

We are currently seeking Trainer and Assessors for following qualifications.

CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support

CHC43015 Certificate IV in ageing Support

CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services

CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management

CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop session plan for all the unit of competency training.

Develop class activities and online quizzes for Moodle.

Efficient and effective delivery and Assessment of the curriculum as per the session plan.

Coordinate work placement activities and conduct observations in the workplace

Participate in assessment validation activities.

Maintain ongoing professional development in the area of training.

Monitoring student academic progress closely and making recommendations to the Director of Studies.

Reporting, submitting and verifying assessments on time.

Responsible for effective communication between staff and students.

Selection Criteria

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent

Qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed

At least 2 years relevant industry working experience

At least 2 years of professional counselling experience (for CHC52021)

Must be able to provide evidence of industry currency

Training and assessment experience in the VET sector

Must have continuous professional development records

Knowledge of ASQA compliance and other applicable standards and legislation

Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills

Desirable Criteria

Knowledge and experience of Moodle Learning Management System

Knowledge and experience of conducting online training via Zoom

Knowledge and experience of RTO manager Student Management
