We are a haulage and earthworks contractor with 30+ years' experience and a strong pipeline of works.

Timms also operate a facility, based in Brendale Qld, focused on recycling and producing earthworks fill material. The demand on our resources, both import and export of fill material is growing thus causing Timms to grow also.

About the Role

Timms are seeking a Weighbridge Operator on a casual basis which will lead to full time employment for the right person

After completing onsite training, you will be responsible for the operation of the weighbridge and the first point of contact for all those attending the site. You will also be directly assisting the site manager in the day-to-day operations of the site, thus playing a key part in ensuring the success of the facility.

Duties

Reporting directly to the Site Manager duties will include

Manage the weighbridge by recording all relevant information associated with all incoming & outgoing product

Accurately entering data into the weighbridge system

Liaise competently with Timms Allocation and administration

Monitor and report any discrepancies in weights, materials, or documentation to the site supervisor

Enforcing site compliance

Preparation of reports, documents and spreadsheets

Inspecting and categorising incoming loads

First point of contact for all visitors, contractors and enquiries

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator (minimum 6 months preferred) or similar administrative role in industrial/construction environment

The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and accurate data entry abilities. IWeigh platform experience an advantage but not necessary

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Outstanding customer service focus

White Card (Construction Induction Certificate) or willingness to obtain
