Behaviour Support Practitioner/ Psychology (2x positions)
Aurora Allied Services is a NDIS registered behaviour support and psychology provider looking for skilled Registered Proficient or above Behaviour Support Practitioners/ Psychologists to join our PBS VIC team. Our vision is to support neurodivergent and disabled individuals to thrive in an authentic way.
Service location requirement:
position 1- service area Melbourne North/ West
position 2- service area Gisborne/ Macedon Ranges
What You’ll Do
Conduct neuro-affirming and trauma informed assessments.
Develop individualised strengths-based person-centred behaviour support plans.
Ensure all practices comply with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.
Work closely and regularly with clients, teams and families.
Conduct regular face-to-face visits to build strong therapeutic relationships.
Produce NDIS required plans within NDIS timeframes and skilled in identifying Restrictive Practices.
What We’re Looking For
Neuro-affirming approach to work. Accepting and supportive of authenticity of clients and families.
Strong advocates for our clients, promoting neurodivergent- affirming environments.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, empathetic approach.
You hold relevant undergraduate qualifications (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Education, Social Work, or Counselling).
Postgraduate qualifications are a plus, but not essential.
Essential- You hold a current driver’s license and have access to a roadworthy vehicle.
Essential- You have current NDIS Worker Screening and a Working with Children Check.
Essential- ABN + Professional indemnity and liability insurance (by commencement date).
Essential- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission- Proficient (or higher).
Essential- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
