About the role

Total Fitouts Adelaide Central is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Pennington, SA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating functional and visually stunning interiors that bring our clients' visions to life.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences

Develop comprehensive interior design plans, including space planning, colour schemes, and furniture selection

Prepare detailed design proposals, drawings, and renderings to present to clients

Coordinate with contractors and tradespeople to ensure the successful implementation of design plans

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations

Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies

Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Interior Design team

What we're looking for

Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial interior design sector

Strong proficiency in design software such as, SketchUp, and Layout

Excellent space planning, colour, and material selection skills

Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Strong communication and presentation skills
