Estimator – HVAC Construction

$130k–$150k base salary (negotiable) | Senior Role | High-Value Projects

We’re looking for a senior Estimator with a proven background in HVAC construction to take the lead on complex projects and high-value tenders.

This is not an entry-level role. You’ll be stepping into an established, well-resourced team with the autonomy to manage your own tenders, advise project managers, and contribute to strategic bid decisions. You’ll report directly to the Estimating Manager and work alongside two other experienced Estimators as part of a 15-person construction team.

What you’ll be doing

Managing end-to-end estimating for HVAC construction projects

Preparing BOQs, scopes, tender submissions and cost plans

Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm pricing

Supporting Project Managers with budget control and variations

Providing value-engineering input during bid stage

Working with the wider construction and engineering teams to ensure accurate handover

What we’re looking for

8+ years of estimating experience in HVAC contracting (not consulting)

Proven ability to manage large, complex tenders independently

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and scopes

Confident using estimating software and Excel

Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and a team-first attitude
