Wisemate Foods is a Western Australian family-owned business which specialises in the manufacture of sauces and dressings, both under our own brands, Gourmetchef and Caterchef, and also as a co-packer for other WA and National clients, large and small.

We are looking for a food production line worker who is available to commence work as soon as possible. Although experience is valued, it is not necessarily required as training will be provided. This is a permanent full time position, 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The first three months will be probationary.

Ability to follow OHS procedures.

Ability to perform physical and repetitive work. The ability to lift 25 kg will be an advantage.

Punctuality and reliability.

Stable work employment history, if applicable.

Current driver’s licence and own transport.

Ability to follow instructions accurately, and flexibility to undertake training in a variety of areas.

A positive and helpful approach to working in a team.

The right to work in Australia.

Preferred candidates will have

A current forklift licence

Mechanical aptitude

Facility with weights and measures.

Hours of work 7.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7.30 to 2.00 p.m. Friday.
