About the role

Modern Foods and Beverages are seeking dedicated Food production workers to join our team on a contract basis in our Canning Vale site, WA 6155 location. As a key member of our manufacturing and assembly team, you will play a vital role in the production and packaging of our high-quality food and beverage products.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the assembly and processing of food and beverage products according to set procedures and quality standards

Performing routine tasks such as weighing, measuring, mixing, and packaging products

Monitoring production processes and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Identifying and reporting any quality or safety issues to supervisors

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Operate various food production equipment and machinery to mix, blend, cook, and package food and beverage products

Efficiently pack and label products for distribution, involves heavy lifting

Ability to lift up to 25kg as part of regular production duties

Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure product quality and safety standards are maintained

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of production areas and equipment

Assist with the set-up and breakdown of production lines as required

Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly output targets

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to hygiene protocols

Work rotating shifts as required to meet production demands.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing or assembly role

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Flexibility to work on a contract basis

Valid food safety certificate or food handling license required before commencement
