Our client is seeking a Business Analyst - Payroll Specialist who will be reporting to the Projects & Business Systems Manager, the Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the Payroll Replacement Project. This position is responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements and data, evaluating existing payroll processes, and supporting the configuration and implementation of the new payroll system to ensure alignment with business needs.

Key duties include:

• Coordinate inputs by external service providers and work closely with ITSC colleagues and the user community on the analysis, design, construction, testing, deployment and production support of business and technology solutions.
• Translate high level business concepts to specific technical workplans for development teams.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, focus groups and walk-throughs with the aim of eliciting information, obtaining validations and approvals.
• Liaise with system users and owners and provide advice on a range of information technology options to address business requirements.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Experienced Business Analyst with a strong track record in delivering HR , ERP and payroll-related projects.
• Deep understanding of business analysis frameworks and tools, including BABOK and BPMN.
• Proficient in data analysis, with hands-on experience using Excel, SQL, and other analytical platforms.
• Highly skilled in producing clear, detailed documentation with strong attention to accuracy and completeness.
• Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
