About the Opportunity

Our client, a solutions oriented ASX listed organisation, headquartered in Brisbane and with operations across Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to complement the existing senior legal team providing strategic legal support across its diverse and fast-paced operations.

In this pivotal role, you will provide high-level corporate advisory and transactional support across the group, helping to drive the next phase of strategic growth, acquisitions, and restructuring. This role also offers the opportunity to work on cross-border projects, international partnerships, and major corporate initiatives — all while enjoying a modern, flexible workplace that supports balance, wellbeing, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Advise on major projects, cross-border transactions, and commercial partnerships.

Draft, review, and negotiate high-value supplier, customer, and corporate agreements.

Support strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and corporate integrations.

Provide advice on governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Build collaborative relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders globally.

Contribute to policy, process, and innovation improvements within the legal function.

What You Bring

Legal admission (or eligible for immediate admission) in Queensland.

Substantial post-admission experience (typically 6 years + PQE) practising in M&A, corporate advisory or transactional law — in private practice or in-house.

Demonstrated track record in structuring and executing mid to large size deals.

Solid understanding of corporate governance, securities regulation, ASX / listing requirements, and compliance frameworks.

Excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical capabilities.

Ability to think commercially, manage legal risk, and partner with business leaders.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, emotional intelligence, and credibility at senior levels.

A collaborative mindset, proactive problem-solving orientation, and desire to contribute to a growing organisation.
