Western Dental Specialist Group is a multi-disciplinary specialist practice based in Melbourne's inner west. The practice is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic team member(s) to assist with a diverse range of administrative and nursing roles.

Desirable features include (but are not essential):

Certificate III in Dental Nursing / Assisting.

Formal Nursing training.

Access to car and valid driver's license.

Experience in medical / dental reception and administrative work.

Ability to speak more than one language.

The role is both challenging and rewarding. It is well supported within an experienced and friendly team environment. Western Dental Specialist Group provides specialist care in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Medicine and Orthodontics. The successful applicant will be interacting with patients, families and other clinicians daily. A friendly and helpful demeanor is essential.

Applicants will be employed on a casual basis to begin with as they undergo training and become familiar with the systems and clinical scope of practice. Part-time / full-time employment is our goal, performance pending. Salary will be above award, but commensurate with previous experience and references. Typical hours are 8.00am – 5.30pm, though flexibility is occasionally required to manage emergencies.

Primary Roles will include:

Reception / Administration duties

Procedural set-up and assisting

Clinic maintenance and instrument sterilisation

Lab work

Patient education
