What I Will Be Doing:

Join us in supporting people with disability to achieve their goals and build the life they choose—full of purpose, independence, and joy.

As a Senior Support Worker in our accommodation setting at Mount Hutton, I will:

• Support the day-to-day running of specialist disability accommodation activities focused on Daily Living Skills, Independence and Active Person Centred Support.
• Work closely with the Service Coordinator to support the team's success, stepping up when needed.
• Facilitate customer focused daily activities such as personal goals, hobbies, and gardening to engage and inspire customers.
• Assist with administration tasks, including WHS audits (fire drills, site safety inspections) to ensure a safe environment.
• Help plan and review customer programs and plans, providing guidance to other support workers and ensuring that best practise is implemented and followed specific to the customer plans.
• Assist with rostering in Niara, and help cover duties when the Service Coordinator is absent.
• Be available from 8 am to 4 pm, ensuring consistent support throughout the day.
