About the Role
The Jobs and Skills Centre is a service offering free career, training and employment assistance as well as partnerships with industry. The Centre is a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to improve their skills and job prospects – including students, jobseekers and career changers. The provides a culturally responsive service to Aboriginal people and engage with the local community and industry to help build local prosperity.
As the Senior Client Engagement Officer (Aboriginal Services) you will develop and implement strategies to engage with Aboriginal school students, job seekers and career changers to connect them with career, training and employment services.
The position will develop and implement strategies to work with industry and employers to assist them to increase their Aboriginal workforce. Additionally, the Officer will develop and maintain stakeholder relationships including the Aboriginal community, service providers and Aboriginal organisations.
