At Selsus, we exist to help people affected by cancer live their best lives. We're offering a hybrid role that combines the autonomy of working from home with the rewarding, hands-on experience of supporting oncology clients in the community.

We are looking for an experienced Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist to join our growing oncology team. This is a unique opportunity to develop a specialist skillset with a supportive and leading team behind you.

About the Role

You will play a crucial role in helping individuals manage the functional impacts of a cancer diagnosis and its treatment, empowering them to live life as fully as possible.

Your work will include:

Conducting comprehensive functional assessments.

Developing and implementing individualised intervention plans.

Prescribing simple assistive technology and equipment.

Completing home safety and accessibility assessments.

Working primarily with NDIS clients in the community and insurance clients via telehealth.

Collaborating closely with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Documenting client progress and maintaining high-quality clinical records.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.

Experience as a Grade 1 or 2 OT, with skills in assessment, intervention, and home modifications.

Experience in oncology is highly desired, but not essential for a motivated candidate with a passion for this specialty.

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centred approach.

Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a community-based caseload.

Must have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
