About Balonne Shire:

Balonne Shire Council has a dedicated team of 110+ staff and population of 4,500 people who live in the surrounding towns of St George, Thallon, Dirranbandi, Bollon, Nindigully, Mungindi and Hebel.

About the Position:

The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Manager Roads Construction and Maintenance in providing specialist engineering, construction management and contract administration expertise in the delivery of road and drainage infrastructure projects.

Due to the work required, the successful applicant is required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)

About you (selection criteria):

Current C Class open drivers' licence

Degree in Civil Engineering or enrolment

Proficient with Mircrosoft Office suite

High level customer service and communication skills
