Hourly rate: $55.24 p/h+ super

About the Role
As an APS5 Capability Partner – Facilitator, you will play a key role in supporting the Agency’s learning and development initiatives. This team membership position requires independent decision-making, technical analysis, and the ability to provide policy advice within a specialised area. You will facilitate engaging learning experiences that empower our workforce and enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate workplace education using a variety of formats including in-person, recorded, and live online sessions.
• Create inclusive and supportive learning environments that foster participation and engagement.
• Guide learners through course content, helping them connect theory to practice.
• Promote reflective practice and critical thinking through discussions and collaborative activities.
• Respond to learner queries and provide additional resources as needed.
• Monitor learner progress and deliver timely, constructive feedback.
• Use digital tools and platforms effectively to deliver content and interact with learners.
• Maintain accurate records in the Agency’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Adapt facilitation strategies to meet diverse learner needs and preferences.
• Model respectful communication and integrity in all learning interactions.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on learning modules and artefacts to support continuous improvement.
• Uphold information management standards including templates, naming conventions, and file storage.
• Stay current with service delivery practices, educational technology trends, and training industry best practices.

About You
You are a confident facilitator with a passion for adult learning and a commitment to excellence. You bring:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in delivering training in various formats.
• Ability to analyse information and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning tools.
• A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
