About the Role

Masscon are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide support the construction division of the business. This is a key role, leading property developments from concept through to completion.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to create and implement new strategies in Construction departments, which has significant pipeline of works through the internal development arm of the business over the next 5 years. This position will play a critical role ensuring companies vision and objectives are achieved

The Key Duties

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality residential developments from concept to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and defect-free.

· Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, programming, and delivery

· Lead and mentor site teams, Contracts Administrator, and subcontractors

· Oversee procurement, contract management, and trade package scoping

· Monitor progress, issue delay notices/EOTs, and keep programs on track

· Ensure compliance with WHS, QA, environmental, and DA conditions

· Liaise with consultants, authorities, and utility providers to secure approvals and connections

· Report regularly on cost, cash flow, procurement, and program to senior management

· Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and zero tolerance for safety or quality breaches

Key Skills and Competencies:

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

· Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager in residential or commercial construction

· Proven track record delivering multi-unit developments end-to-end

· Strong leadership with ability to manage site teams and subcontractors

· Excellent knowledge of construction programming and contract administration

· Clear understanding of building codes, WHS, and compliance requirements

· Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

· Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
