If you answered ‘Yes’ to all of the above, we have an exciting opportunity for a Automotive trainer and assessor to join our team. We have a full-time or part-time position on offer depending on your circumstances.

The successful candidate must:

a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry

maintain currency in the automotive industry

an understanding of regulatory compliance, or willingness to learn,

a high attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in a team

strong organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing environments.

experience in participating in validation processes, or willingness to learn

experience managing stakeholders.

computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)

Desired qualifications but not essential:

Cert III, IV or Diploma level qualification in Automotive

Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtain one in a reasonable timeframe at company expense

Your role will include:

delivering engaging training sessions to international students with a focus on practical experiences

assessing students in the above qualifications post training

marking assessments

providing weekly progress reports to admin and support staff

developing training programs whenever required

participating in inhouse and external audits

AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology;

AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis;

AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management
