Your new role

Our Hays Sydney CBD office is currently a temporary Commercial Finance Officer commencing immediately until mid-January 2026.

We're looking for someone to join our team to help manage compliance tasks and support our preferred supplier agreements.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing reports and resolving compliance issues
• Using Excel and rate calculators to manage data
• Communicating with internal teams to resolve queries
• Maintaining cost details for temporary staff contracts
• Interpreting supplier agreements to calculate pay rates
• Creating and updating rate calculators
• Managing payroll-related costs like superannuation, tax, and rebates
• Supporting with ad hoc reporting when needed

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in finance or compliance is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to high volumes of enquiries
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
• High attention to detail and accuracy
