The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to be part of a professional workshop with a commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and troubleshoot issues in vehicle engines and associated mechanical components.

Disassemble engines, gearboxes, steering systems, and other parts to assess wear or damage.

Replace or repair worn or faulty components, referring to technical manuals when necessary.

Perform routine servicing including oil and filter changes, lubrication, and engine tuning to improve efficiency and comply with emission standards.

Refit and reassemble engines and mechanical systems after repairs.

Test and fine-tune vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance.

Operate computerised diagnostic tools to verify mechanical faults.

Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and either issue compliance certificates or provide a list of required repairs.

About You

Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic.

Proven diagnostic and repair skills across a range of vehicle types.

Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Clear and professional communication skills.

Valid Australian driver’s license.

Full working rights in Australia (valid visa if applicable).

Possession of an AIS Inspection Certificate is essential.
