About the Role

As a key part of our operations team, you'll be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of metal structures and equipment at Cubbie Station. Some of the key responsibilities include:

Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, wide-diameter steel pipework, components, and equipment according to specifications.

Use welding, cutting, and shaping techniques to construct, repair, and install metal frameworks, large scale earthmoving machinery, large-scale pipe systems and other large-scale irrigation specific work.

Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, ensuring all components, including pipework, meet industry standards and project requirements.

Maintain high standards of workmanship to ensure the durability and safety of all fabricated structures.

Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and other tradespeople to coordinate project activities.

About You

To be successful in securing this position, you will need:

Trade certification in Boilermaking or Welding.

Proven experience as a boilermaker, welder, or metal fabricator.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metalworking processes, and fabrication methods.

Proficiency with welding equipment, power tools, and measuring instruments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Strong motivation and work ethic

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety & quality

Current manual driver's licence (HR licence desirable)

Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications (or willingness to obtain)
