Service Technician – HVAC

About the Role

Air-Rite Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you’ll ensure the smooth running of commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a HVAC Service Technician, you will:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of HVAC systems, including:

VRF/VRV systems

Packaged rooftop units

Ducted split systems

Conduct preventative maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding across commercial, industrial, and multi-residential projects.

Perform and oversee system commissioning, testing, and reporting.

Liaise with clients, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and compliance reports.

Ensure strict adherence to WHS standards and all industry regulations.

Stay up to date with evolving HVAC technologies, products, and service methods.

Represent Air-Rite with professionalism, building trust with clients and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).

Current Refrigerant Handling Licence and Construction White Card.

The legal right to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa).

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Service Technician in a commercial HVAC environment.

Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems.

Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication abilities.

A valid manual driver’s licence.

Commitment to safety and WHS compliance.
