St Jude's NDIS
Posted 5 days ago
St Jude's has been one of the more innovative and leading service providers for people with disability and psychosocial needs in Australia since 1982. In recent times, our organisation has been experiencing substantial growth as a direct result of the quality of the services we provide. Our significant experience in service delivery is reflected through 40 years of providing quality services and maintaining the highest of standards for our clients.
Role Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a key role in helping children reach their full potential through NDIS-funded support. Your work will involve delivering personalised, one-on-one therapy in homes, schools, and our welcoming clinic spaces. You'll design practical tools and strategies to empower families and ensure real-world progress, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. With autonomy over your own caseload, you'll build strong relationships with families, educators, and other professionals to deliver consistent, goal-driven therapy that supports every individual's development and wellbeing.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Apply your understanding of childhood development to assess how various disabilities influence participation in daily routines, such as personal care, play and education
- Plan and deliver customised intervention programs that encourage skill-building and support children in reaching meaningful milestones
- Partner with families, schools, and care teams to implement practical, consistent approaches that align with each child's individual goals
- Keep up-to-date, professional records including therapy notes, reports, and documentation required for funding and service planning
This role is being hired on either a permanent part-time or full-time basis and is based out of our central office in Belmont. The option for a 9-day fortnight is available!
Skills, Attributes and Experience
We're looking for someone who brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a proactive mindset to the team! You value person-centred care and know how to build genuine, trusting connections with children, families and your team. You enjoy working collaboratively, think outside the box, and are driven to create real impact through innovative, goal-focused therapy.
To be considered for this position, you'll require the following:
- Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A valid WA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain both)
St Jude's NDIS are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. If the above opportunity is one that excites and encourages you, we would welcome and encourage your application. If your application is selected for progression then we will be in touch to discuss it with you soon.
