  • Permanent Full-Time Job Opportunity – 35 hours per week
  • Attractive salary ranging from $1,121.45 up to $1,286.40

Join Moree Plains Shire Council as a Customer Service Officer based at the Dhiiyaan Aboriginal Centre. In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated team working to preserve and promote Aboriginal history, culture and heritage, while delivering exceptional service to the community.

In this role, you will:

Provide friendly, professional and culturally appropriate customer service to visitors.

Assist community members with enquiries relating to Aboriginal history, culture, language and family research.

Support the administration of the Centre, including correspondence, reporting, and recordkeeping.

Help promote and deliver programs, projects and events that celebrate Aboriginal culture.

Liaise with local Elders to support their involvement in Centre activities and events.

Ensure the Centre is presented to a high standard for education sessions, meetings and community use.

Coordinate and support room hire bookings and access to Centre resources.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes while supporting one of Moree’s most significant cultural hubs.
