About the Role

Reporting to the GM of People, you’ll provide leadership, technical expertise and guidance across all areas of Workplace Health & Safety. This is an advisory and coordination role, partnering with site-based safety professionals and operational leaders to ensure WHS strategy and systems are implemented consistently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the rollout of national WHS initiatives and cultural programs
• Leading and coaching site teams through incident investigations, corrective actions and RTW programs
• Auditing hazard registers, risk assessments and site compliance
• Delivering WHS metrics, dashboards and reporting to senior leadership
• Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring governance requirements are met
• Building strong relationships to positively influence behaviours and embed a proactive, people-first safety culture

About You

We’re seeking a confident and experienced safety professional who can influence at all levels of the business.

You’ll bring:

• Tertiary qualification and/or Certificate/Diploma in WHS or OHS
• 5+ years’ experience in WHS, ideally in manufacturing or labour-intensive industries
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, systems and risk management frameworks
• The ability to analyse and report safety trends, providing practical insights
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a hands-on, collaborative approach
