We’re currently looking for a full time Administration Coordinator to join our vibrant WA Team.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be supporting an experienced administration and enrolment team to achieve critical tasks. Key tasks will include, reporting on government funded contracts, coordinating, prioritising, and assigning work for key personnel within your team. This role will also be responsible for updating business processes and procedures to support continuous improvement needs across the business whilst also working and liaising with students and employers for Work placement and Recruitment opportunities.
While your attention to detail and strong work ethic will be key, and your ability to diligently and accurately deliver on compliance required duties, it’s your patience, maturity and considerate nature that will allow you to excel in this role.
A day in the life
Leveraging your natural organisational and people skills, you’ll have oversight over of our WA Training Centre, responsible for supporting the delivery of effective compliant training of Pathology and Laboratory Courses at our Osborne Park office. You will provide support for enrolment and administration staff, managing efficient resource allocation, course scheduling and student recruitment via our B2C sales.
Your easy communication style and innate leadership abilities will allow you to bring together and motivate the team to achieve success.
You will also work alongside our Industry Engagement Team (responsible for generating B2B sales) and our Training Manager – WA.
You’ll monitor the following key questions and take appropriate action to resolve any issues:
Is your team motivated, fulfilled, and productive?
Have we met our training centre KPI targets?
Are we complying with our state training contract requirements?
Is paperwork being completed accurately and in full?
Do trainers have the right information and course materials?
Must-haves
Experience working in the VET sector
Familiar with compliance requirements of ASQA, and the Standards for RTOs 2015
Experience with workplace training, and managing the traineeship programs
High level of computer literacy
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
Bonus points
Experience in a similar management role
Experience as a VET trainer/assessor
Experience using a CRM
Experience using VETtrak
Qualification in commerce, business admin, management or similar
Experience in financial management, including budgeting and planning
