We are currently on the lookout for experienced customer service consultants to join our inbound roadside assistance call centre teams in Joondalup and West Perth. Roadside assistance supports our members with unexpected motor related issues such as tyre troubles, running out of fuel, flat batteries and motor breakdowns.
This full-time opportunity commencing in 6th October 2025, will consist of an average of 37.5 hours per week, scheduled on a rotational roster that starts after the 5 week training period. The rostered hours are:
Monday - Friday between 7.00am - 10.30pm
Saturday - Sunday 8.30am-5.00pm
As a Customer Service Consultant in this team, you will be handling a high volume of inbound calls, ensuring you have all the relevant information to enable you to appoint the necessary resource to carry out the repairs. Whether you need to organise and send a mechanic, towing vehicle or to help locate our members anywhere across WA – you will be a trained expert in this area!
Within this role you will:
Be the first point of contact for our members, assisting them with any queries, changes or support they may need in relation to a range of RAC products and services.
Provide efficient and friendly support to 50-60 members daily, to understand their individual needs and recommend RAC products and services that best suit their lifestyle and preferences
Develop your knowledge of RAC products and Services through a full time training and upskilling program, allowing you to support a larger range of members
Confidently navigate multiple technology systems while simultaneously providing support and having engaging conversations with members
What will you bring to this role?
Demonstrated experience in a customer service role - if you've worked in a role with structured hours, KPIs or targets this would be considered highly advantageous
Excellent communication and comprehension skills and understand how to connect with people from all walks of life
You're a natural problem solver and can think on your feet to find suitable solutions
You thrive under pressure, adapt quickly to change, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments
