Gladesville Bridge Marina is seeking a motivated and reliable Slipway Hand to join our team in Drummoyne. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for boating, and wants to grow their skills in the marine industry.

About the Role

As a Slipway Hand, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks that support the maintenance and movement of vessels on our slipway. Your duties will include:

Positioning boats on cradles with precision and care

Pressure washing hulls and removing marine growth

Scraping and preparing surfaces for antifouling

Applying antifoul coatings

Operating tenders and assisting with tow operations

General yard and slipway support

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a marina or marine maintenance environment (preferred but not essential)

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Boat license or experience operating small vessels/tenders

A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
