Station Hand / Stock hand

Experience in a similar role is preferable, however applicants will be considered if they are genuinely interested in long term employment and a career in the rural industry and have a positive attitude to learning.

Your role will include:

All aspects of livestock production in a self-replacing cow herd

A commitment to safe work practices and animal welfare

Operating and maintaining farm vehicles and equipment

Rotational grazing and pasture management

Maintenance of stock water and fencing including electric fencing systems

General farm duties

About you:

A passion for agriculture and regenerative land management.

A good work ethic, that are honest, dependable and reliable.

Attention to detail and have the ability to follow instructions

Ability to work unsupervised & also in a team environment

Experience with cattle husbandry and grazing management

Accurate record keeping skills

Ability to operate farm machinery, have basic mechanical skills and welding skills

Has a genuine interest in beef cattle and sustainable farm management practices

Preferably has own working dogs for quiet stock handling

Fit, healthy and a non smoker

Licenced to drive a manual car and have your own transport.
