About the role

Ready Bake Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Industrial Cleaner to join our team in Virginia, Queensland. This full-time role will involve providing thorough and efficient cleaning services to our industrial facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment for our employees.

What you'll be doing

Performing routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitising floors, surfaces, and equipment

Operating automatic floor scrubbers , foggers, air tools, cabinet washers and high pressure crate washers.

Assembly and disassembly of equipment.

Setting up production lines.

Emptying and disposing of waste and recycling

Replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies

Identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Collaborating with the wider cleaning team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained across the site

Reporting to the Cleaning Team Leader and Quality Manager to ensure hygiene standards are meeting expectations.

What we're looking for

Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial or commercial cleaning role

Full work rights in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Punctual and reliable applicants comfortable with working an overnight shift for a sustained period.

Commitment to a collaborative and team focused approach

Ability to work efficiently and effectively during the night shift

Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certification

Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
