About The Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Team Lead, to join the Priestley’s family. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5, who are split across 2 shifts (day & afternoon) Working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Additionally, ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the production environment by performing industrial cleaning duties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food safety and sanitation, helping us provide safe, high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate employees ensuring all safety and hygiene protocols are met, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all food safety regulations (such as HACCP and FDA guidelines).

Provide leadership and help to build and encourage an effective work environment.

Clean and maintain industrial machinery, ensuring proper function and sanitation standards are met.

Use appropriate disinfectants to ensure all surfaces are free of harmful bacteria and contaminants, preventing cross-contamination.

Cleaning and sanitising machine parts, mobile tanks, hoses and trolleys etc.

Document cleaning activities, inspections, and any issues found during cleaning.

Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

About You:

Previous experience in industrial or food manufacturing cleaning (preferred).

Demonstrated experience working within a FMCG manufacturing environment.

Previous experience in a leadership role (highly advantageous).

Chemical and manual handling certificates (highly advantageous).

Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to effectively divide your time evenly across your team.

Physically fit (with the ability to pass a medical test).
